We demonstrated many years at the MN State Fair Heritage Square Smithy. But Alas, the old smithy has been torn down… We have lost an irreplaceable piece of history…We no longer hear the ringing of the anvil! This Was the original shop where the race horses were shod back in the day. Now only in our memory can we still see the old wood plank floor worn down where the race-horses once stood while the shoes were being fitted. Dan Patch we knew you well…
We are often found at the Baudette Farmers’ Market near the Rainy River in the Summer.
Another event where we demonstrate blacksmithing is at the Lake of the Woods Steam & Gas show located near Rocky Point on the south shore of Lake of the Woods.
